4. Disclosure; Forward-Looking Statements
4.1 Some Material may include statements that relate to future performance or projections, and can include, but are not limited to, statements regarding Raytheon’s future financial or program performance, or Raytheon’s future strategies or proposed business plans (or any other statement that comes within the meaning of the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995). Specifically, statements that are not historical facts, including statements accompanied by words such as "believe," "expect," "estimate," "intend," or "plan," variations of these words, and similar expressions, are understood by User to be forward-looking statements that convey the uncertainty of future events or outcomes. User understands that these statements are only predictions about future events, that such statements are based on certain assumptions at the time the statement is made, that they are subject to a wide range of risks and uncertainties, and that actual events or results may differ materially from such predictions.
4.2 User understands that many factors could cause actual results or events to differ from predicted results or events discussed in forward-looking statements, and that such factors can include, but are not limited to: the ability to obtain or the timing of obtaining future government awards; the availability of government funding; changes in government or customer priorities due to program reviews or revisions to strategic objectives; difficulties in developing and producing operationally advanced technology systems; termination of government contracts; program performance, including resolution of claims, particularly at the Raytheon's NCS business unit; timing of contract payments; the performance of critical subcontractors; government import and export policies and other government regulations; the ultimate resolution of contingencies and legal matters, including investigations; the effect of market conditions, particularly in relation to the general aviation and commuter aircraft markets; the uncertainty of the timing and amount of the net realizable value of Boeing Business Jet-related assets; risks inherent with large long-term fixed price contracts, particularly the ability to contain cost growth and programs which anticipate significant future cost improvements; conflicts with other investors in joint ventures and less than wholly-owned businesses; Raytheon's lack of construction industry expertise resulting from Raytheon's sale of its former engineering and construction businesses; the timing of project completion and customer acceptance of two Massachusetts construction projects; delays and cost growth arising from testing and commissioning processes conducted at the Massachusetts projects; the final determination by Raytheon of the required expenditures to complete the Massachusetts projects; and the impact of change orders, the recoverability of Raytheon's claims and the outcome of defending claims asserted against Raytheon; among other things. Further information regarding the factors that could cause actual results to differ materially from Raytheon's expectations are disclosed in Raytheon's filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission including its Annual Reports on Form 10-K and Quarterly Reports on Form 10-Q. In view of the foregoing, User agrees that it will place no reliance on any forward-looking statements on the Site.
4.3 Raytheon assumes no responsibility to provide updates to forward-looking statements after the date the statements are placed on the Site.
4.4 Nothing in the Site constitutes investment advice, including Raytheon’s SEC filings. Investor relations information is provided for convenience and information only. Investor relations information and other Site content are not offers to sell or solicitations of offers to buy Raytheon securities.
4.5 Raytheon does not generate the stock price information for the Site. Raytheon believes that the information is accurate but cannot guaranty the accuracy completeness or timeliness of the information. User should not rely on the information for investment purposes.
5. Accuracy and Timeliness of Information
Raytheon assumes no responsibility to monitor the accuracy, completeness, timeliness or reliability of any Material on this Site. As such, Material may not be updated when errors are uncovered or as new information becomes available. User understands that certain Material, including, but not limited to, annual reports, SEC filings, press releases, and product information, may become stale or incomplete over time, and releases Raytheon from any and all liability associated with same.
6. Submissions to the Site
Any information, feedback, links, or other material User submits to the Site (“Submissions”), will be considered non-confidential and User grants Raytheon a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use the Submissions in any way it chooses, subject to any limitations set forth in Article 10, “Privacy Policy”. Therefore, Raytheon may, among other things, reproduce, transmit, distribute, adapt, perform, display and create derivative works from User’s Submissions, and sublicense others to do any of the foregoing activities. User agrees that its Submissions will meet all requirements for appropriate content in accordance with Section 1.3 above. Raytheon reserves the right at any time and without notice, to refuse to receive, post or remove any Submission.
7. Compliance with Applicable Laws; Export Control Laws
The Site and the Material may be subject to U.S. export control laws and may also be subject to the laws of the country where you reside. User agrees to comply with all applicable laws, statutes, ordinances, and regulations regarding User’s use of the Site. Raytheon makes no representation that the Site or the Material is appropriate or available for use in other jurisdictions. If User chooses to access this site from such a jurisdiction, User does so at its own risk.
